Cropper….Died peacefully with his family by his side, on 29th August 2026. James “David” aged 83 years of Biddulph (former proprietor of the Bulls Head Hotel, Congleton and the Coach and Horses, Timbersbrook). The very much loved and devoted husband of Lynn. Loving dad of Charles and Victoria, dear father in law of Heather and Ben, cherished grumpy of Scarlett, Harlie, Ezra, Vienna and Sidney,  brother of Millicent, brother in law of Oswald, Stuart and Kathleen and a dear uncle. Cortege is to leave his home on Monday, 12th October 2026 at 11.25am, before driving past The Coach and Horses and The Bulls Head Hotel and will arrive for the service at St Peter’s Church, Congleton at 12 noon. Which will be followed by a private family burial at Congleton Town Cemetery and light refreshments at Congleton Golf Club.
